Banjo Paterson Memorial Park

Banjo Paterson Memorial Park

The Banjo Paterson Memorial Park in Orange celebrates the life and works of Banjo Paterson including the country bush song 'Waltzing  Matilda'. The park is located just across from the Orange Visitor Information Centre and is accessible at all times.
There are picnic and barbeque areas to spend your time relaxing in the historical sites and gardens.

On the way to Ophir, don't miss the signs to visit the birth place of Australia's most famous bush poet, Banjo Paterson.

Testimonials

We were blown in by the strong winds so made a fire and stayed cosy for our short stay. We’ve loved exploring and building fires, enjoyed the quietness and generally had a lovely time as a family – with no technology to distract us from us! Yay!
