Hill End Historic Village Site

Hill End Historic Village

Hill End is an historic village with a living community, featuring original gold rush street scapes and buildings dating back to the 1850s. It's the perfect place to relive the early gold mining days of 19th century New South Wales.

Take a self-guided tour of the town starting at the visitor centre. Then onto the museum and Bald Hill Tourist Mine for some gold panning. Don't forget to visit La Paloma Pottery and the Hill End Press Gallery in the Holtermann's Corner Store.

Testimonials

We only stayed 1 night at Blue Gum Cabin but the kids had an awesome time, lots of things to look at and to keep them busy. Very neat little place with plenty of room for a family. We will be back in the near future. Wish we could stay longer. Thank you.
